Now What?

I sit here in front of my computer and suddenly I am not sure what to write! lol So perhaps I will start with a little bit about my dream.

I grew up on a farm, spending my days helping Mom in the kitchen and Dad in the barn. Summers were spent helping in the fields, bucking bales of hay and driving tractor, as well as helping Mom can apricots, cherries, peaches, tomatoes, green beans, and sometimes corn. I got away from that lifestyle, but the desire to do those things stayed with me. The years went by and it all remained "the dream" but now, I have my chance! It's not exactly the way I had always envisioned but who had ever heard of an urban homesteader? I am living in a small town with a large backyard that I am going to turn into my "farm". Who needs all that grass anyway? There is so much I want to do! It is so exciting to finally be where I can even attempt to do many of the things I have wanted to for so long!
